Listen, I agree the PTAB should go away. The truth should prevail, and the innocent patent holders should claim victory.
BUT. I don't think that will happen. Too many lawyers, too many large corporations that DEPEND upon the process.
I'll say it again. IMO the end result is that Congress RE-CONFIGURES the PTAB and while we both agree we would "LIKE" to hear the IPR process is finished, simply don't see that happening.
